I thought it gonna be good cause of James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford). Also the director is Iron Man. How did they mess this one up?
the title indeed provokes my disinterest. it is entirely too self-aware and aimed at a cynical hipster audience. this strategy didn't work with Snakes on a Plane, and i doubt it will work here.
both daniel craig and harrison ford don't do much for me, though i admit the supporting cast is good. i'd be happy to see adam beach and sam rockwell, just not enough to pay for this movie.
one day i'd like to watch something with that olivia wilde.
I'm not sure the title is meant so much as "hipster", but rather a direct link to the original source? [link]
Some adaptations take liberties for obvious reasons- K.Reeves "Constantine" wasn't called "Hell Blazer" as movie audiences might assume a connection with the Hell Raiser franchise.
I'm kind of excited for the genre blending. It's better than the rest of Hollywood mining my childhood to create terrible reimaginings (GI Joe, Transformers, A Team, and now I hear even Captain Planet is getting a movie[why?]).

Reminds me of Jonah Hex.
