I have seen most of those movies, UP is the best on the list imo.

Also, "Marley & Me" was very surprising as it is not just another stupid romantic comedy. The marketing for that movie was ALL wrong. It had some of the worst marketing I have ever seen. Under rated movie imo.

maybe maybe maybe the 'marley & me' inclusion is a bad one, but i'll stand by it. i like owen wilson and don't mind jennifer aniston too much (regardless of her garbage-movie track record). apparently alan arkin is in it too, who is good... also, i like dogs... but, i hate dogs in movies... i am sure the studio buffoons didn't know how to handle the movie, as it was promoted in a way that looked idiotic.

This is probably the best "pet" movie I have seen. All other dog movies I have seen are complete trash compared to marley. :)

Have seen 11, given I watch entirely to many movies. (including ones I know will be bad, just to learn what not to do in story telling)

I must say I think I am beginning to share your disdain for 3D animation though. It is sterile... and all the kids getting in to that industry just seem... brainless? Everything with them is an animal doing a joke, rinse, repeat.

I can't tell you how much I agree that cartoons need actual villains! Pixar is incredibly good at shipping movies with villains that just seem to shrink in... well villainy. Wall-E had no villain at all for Christ's sake. Sorry was about to go on a rant.

Anyways, keep fighting the good fight brotha, and don't watch those movies, and all the other ones coming out next year that are the same movie with a different title (I'm looking at you James Cameron's Poca-errr... Avatar.)

i totally argree about 3D being sterile. i rarely watch any theatrical animation, but in the clips i do see, facial expressions and timing all seem the same, regardless of the style or studio.

Several on that list I wish I had never seen. Catwoman makes you want to scratch your own eyes out. :(
