title says it all - DNA is a scam! of course, when i mention DNA, i am not refering to any other use than to re-introduce dinosaurs. seriously, what is the hold-up? is there really some kind of moral dilemma surrounding a real-life JP? at the very least, can some university scientist produce a wooly mammoth? science sucks.

BTW, where is my jet pack???

I have an even better idea put all of the government idiodts that keep wasting our money on project that will never see the light of day or have one shreed of pratical use in any way what so ever all on an island out in the middle of nowhere, release all of the whats-its that have been cooked up in any labs and kept hidden, along with a few dozen normal preditory animal types, all of the prison population that is on death row with out paroll. Give each human a pocket knife, a compas, and a canteen. Let it be known that anyone that tries to leave the island dies set bouies to warn boats and planes and leave them to their fate!

I agree; science needs to reintroduce dinosaurs into the ecosystem. It would be great.

You didn't get your jet pack? I got mine the same time I got my siver jumpsuit with a big V on the front, with matching silver boots and some food in pill form :D

Oh and there are lots of jetpacks. Just no real proper usage for them and a hell of a lot of laws limiting their private use.

We need complete intact DNA or at least partly intact if we want to patch it. That being said, progress is being made on cloning efficiency.

I'm betting that in my lifetime we will get to see a real-life woolly mammoth.

Dinosaurs would die right away in this world, the current temperature of the world is to them, what would be way under 0° for us.

But scientists don't give a shit, they won't clone organs and save lives because there's moral issues, but they don't give a shit about bringing back an animal from across history to suffer, as if we didn't hurt our own time's animals enough already.
