i read a quote today which i love regarding the music industry. however, it could be expanded to encompass todays overall consumer idiocy. The worship that sheep give in supporting all things corporate above individualism. anyways, i liked this snide, truthful yet sadly futile sentiment. all is lost.

i loved Prometheus like mad. i am eager to check it out again.

other movie opinions are as follows...

- i'll be happy to see batman, but don't feel like this movie batman character and scenario has any proper relation to the one which i believe to be the true version. i think this trilogy will ultimately fade from favour.
- i'm upset at the delay for the new GI Joe. hopefully it'll fix things that i am fearful of with it.
- i will put no money towards the new spiderman movie at all. i feel a strange combination of anger and disinterest regarding it.
- i'm excited for The Bourne Legacy and fully expect it to be as good as the others. i am hopefully certain that it'll move towards an inevitable return of Matt Damon in subsequent movies.
- no interest in Total Recall at all.
- i love Dolph Lundgren, therefore am anticipating The Expendables 2. however, despite seemingly everyone else, have no interest in Chuck Norris' inclusion. i find very little to be charming about him.
- if anyone wants to send me the first volume of the Sleepy Eyes of Death DVDs, please feel free. i luckily just found the second volume used this past week, but won't watch them until seeing the first set.

The things I want to buy, and the way in which I want to buy them is out of style.

i will change my icon/avatar thing. though i kinda like that guy (as he appears aloof and mostly unimpressed with life), i am so sick of anything star wars related... so anyways, i'll have a facelift at some unknown time in the future once i have time and inspiration. please love me just the same.

  i realize i have not posted anything for many, many months. i am sorry for this. though i currently draw fulltime, i have not been doing anything which i would want to post, even if i were able to. my mind is coming up with fun ideas which i have not been able to realize on paper due to time/energy constraints, which i find very frustrating and numbing. anyways, i am not dead, just temporarily inveigled into a franz kafka story.

Though it hasn't yet grown into a massive outcry, there is a slight bit of a negative murmerizing towards the Avengers movie Captain America costume... Well, I side with the opinion that it is nearly perfect. Superheroes are bogged down with some boring notion that they have to look all gritty, wicked and real-world. Whatev, I am all for superheroes appearing marginally towards dopey rather than badass-extreeem (i sneer in the direction of the otherwise beloved Spiderman and Superman)...

Zazie dans le Métro - proof that the french have no business in filmmaking. the only redeeming factor is that most involved are now toward their ultimate demises, if not already there.

The best Hercules ever put on screen (with the close second being the one from Jason and the Argonauts) finally comes to DVD in early October. I am disappointed that it is not the entire 100+ episodes though - rather some undisclosed minimal amount fitting on a single disc. Hopefully this will lead to additional volumes.

One day I'll finish my The Mighty Hercules drawing I started a year ago.

is it wrong that i am curious about the movie jonah hex? all reviews are bad, but are there any redeeming factors? let me know, as i hesitate to waste the time watching a show with such negative heralds... also, i feel this way towards green lantern...

I've tried to thank every person for their comments in my few years of using this site, but lately haven't been as on top of it. I appreciate every comment, favourite and watch (not so much the llamas), even if i have rudely neglected to reply...
