Description

Storm_Shadow_flat.jpg

Storm Shadow was first released carded as part of the third series (1984). He was also sold in 1985 and also in 1986. Storm Shadow was finally discontinued domestically in 1987.

Storm Shadow's body mold is entirely original and not made up from previous molds.

The mold was re-used to make the Cobra Ninja Viper (1992), Storm Shadow (v5) (1997), Red Ninja Viper (2004), and Black Dragon Ninja (2004).

Note that the figure's head only turns left and right - it does not allow the head to look up and down. The heads only turned left and right until the the swivel ball head that was introduced in 1985 (Series Four).

In Europe, Storm Shadow was sold carded in the mid-80s on Action Force cards. In Brazil, Storm Shadow was sold in 1986 as Cobra Do Gelo.

In Argentina, Storm Shadow was recolored in red and released as Satan. He was also recolored in black and released as Ninja-Ku. A regular white version of Storm Shadow was also produced as Cobra De Hielo.
